School Vision
It is the vision of Elihu Yale Elementary School to prepare proud, positive and productive students to be highly competent citizens of the future. As we continue to bring about the vision our staff, in collaboration with community leaders; create an environment that is available, accessible to all members of the Englewood Community. Our nurturing learning environment will allow our students, staff and the community members to gain the skills needed to meet the demands of our ever-changing global society.

We believe that through professional development, teachers will create and implement curriculums of academic excellence through rigorous data-driven instruction and assessment. Students will receive well-rounded educational experiences that address the whole child by focusing on their educational, social and emotional needs. In partnership with the community, Elihu Yale School will continue to foster educational opportunities, social involvement and collective endeavors that will empower the community.
Character Education Model
Character Education at Yale School is to help your child develop socially acceptable behaviors. The curriculum is guided by ten character traits.
